the place is nice. indoor and outdoor pool with Jacuzzi. the continental breakfast was great. had a different breakfast yesterday and today which was great to have variety. the bathrooms were spacious.
Nice towels, accepts pets, very friendly staff. Our pet room was suprisinly very clean. It's not a major high class hotel but we where fine. Good breakfast staff specially Rudy friendly hard working gentleman. Tip him something nice people.
Nice hotel, descent location, friendly staff... nasty outdoors pool/spa area... and very unorganized. Added 2 additional night months prior to our reservation. Each day of the additional nights I received a call asking if I was going to do a late check out and a knock on the door from housekeeping. This was after I confirm 3 times (when I booked the room, at check in and after the first call) that my nights were added to the same room. The hotel must be working on an old computer software that doesn't recognize this. Unfortunately, my child left a sentimental valued blanket her Grandmother had given her. I paid $23 to have it mailed to me. It was mailed to the wrong guest (I was never told this in the beginning), and I was mailed someone else clothes. After sending this back, I have yet to receive the blanket nor receive my money back for the mailing charges. The managers kind response is "After we take the package to the UPS store, the hotel no longer assumes responsibility for the package." Yet, I gave my credit card number to the hotel for the shipping charges. Due to their "lack there of" organization, I will not stay there ever again, and I visit Destin twice a year. They lost a very good potential customer. Kudos to their business! Good job on organization (sarcasm)
Very nice hotel. We stayed mid September for a couple days so no kids around really. It is not on the beach but not to far away. We went to Henderson Beach each day which was only a couple minute drive away. Would recommend this place to anyone. Staff is friendly and we were able to check in early.
10/10/17 -update- I received another package of someone's smelling clothes. I've accepted that I will never get my blanket.
This was a great place to have a short vacation. They had multiple pools, good breakfast and was close to the beach.
