The people at Ocean Reef were fantastic as well. They kindly answered all of our questions and even added a special door lock on the back for us. I cannot say enough good things about them or our stay.
This is our 4th year staying with Ocean Reef Resorts!! Their properties are Beautiful!! Booking through them is so easy and if you have any questions...just call them...they are so helpful!! I love that this house came with 2 beach umbrellas and 4 beach chairs on the beach!! & I love all the discounts we get for just being a guest of Ocean Reef Resorts!! Can't wait for next year!!
We absolutely loved Emerald Waters 404! It was comfortable, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed to enjoy our beach vacation. The unit was very clean and well maintained. The beach was right across the street which made it very easy to access. We were also located near some great restaurants. We hope to return to Emerald Waters in the future!
We wouldn't think of utilizing anyone else for our vacation rental. They have a huge listing of rentals on the website and you will surely find what you want.
We have used Ocean Reef resorts for over 10 years for our annual Destin trip and have always had a positive experience. The entire staff is ready to help any way they can and are friendly and professional. We have selected a Hidden Dunes property in the past and this year we selected Edgewater. It wasn't indicated on the website but unit 1405 was like a penthouse with a private entrance and with a huge deck/balcony all to ourselves. The 3 bedroom 3 bath unit was very well laid and fully furnished. The only time we were disappointed, the staff quickly took care of the problem.
This our second time renting from Ocean Reef. We arrived at our property to find not how we expected. The carpets were very dirty and stained and they smelled like pets had soiled them. We chose a place with carpet due to the 8 month old child we have who is crawling. The furniture was also very dirty and stained to the point that we just draped extra sheets over it. We then walked into the kitchen a noticed a very large roach that at first we thought was dead but then moved after my husband went to pick up. Ocean reef did send someone to clean carpet during our stay and it did clean up but the carpet was wet and we had to stay off of it for the evening and for this reason we chose to not have the upstairs cleaned even though it also needed it. They also sent someone to spray for roaches but continued noticing them daily in the kitchen and dining area and once while we were eating dinner one crawled down the wall behind us. Ocean reef gave us the explanation that these homes are rented that they don't have extra time to deep clean them often. I just wonder what the cleaning fee we pay is used for then?
Costa Del Sol was beautiful and clean, well furnished and perfect for us! The view from all three balconies was even better than I had imagined. I would definitely stay there again.
