Absolutely love this place. Great for quiet, romantic dinners. Servers are all great. Would not recommend taking small children as there is a boiling pot on the table.
Very good fondue here and the service is excellent. It is pricey though. But for four courses it’s worth the experience.
I have been to various Melting Pots over the years so I knew what to expect. My date had not so it was a new experience for her. She loved it and so did I. The experience of cooking your food on your table is unique and the variety keeps you from getting bored. We ordered the 4 course experience. Plan on a few hours for your dinner. Pricier than some places but for the experience it can't be beat. The service was outstanding as well.
I was a little skeptical about cooking food in a fondue pot, but it was actually very fun and the meat cooked properly (if you follow the time suggestions). It tasted amazing. Dessert was even better than dinner. How can you go wrong with dipping things into melted chocolate? You can't. We like to eat a lot and didn't think we would get full eating little chunks of meat, but we did. We didn't even finish all the dessert pieces. For comparison, we can each finish half a large pizza in a seating.
Me and my girlfriend just ate there a little bit ago, we had never had fondue and decided to give it a try while we're in town. The service was fantastic, our waiter (Doug) was awesome. Genuinely friendly and quick, creating an at home with friends type atmosphere, at the end of the night a lady we had presumed was just the hostess offered us some extra dipping items for the chocolate fondue desert and then introduced herself as the owner, which for us added a feeling of welcome knowing that even the owner is willing to get in and do the work she pays her employees to do for her and meet the people that visit. Overall could not have had a better experience, will most definitely be visiting again when we are in Destin again. Thank you Doug and the melting pot for a wonderful evening dining at your establishment, you guys are rock stars!
The food was amazing! It was definitely a unique experience! The atmosphere was quiet and romantic. Our waitress Stacey was the best server that we have ever had at any restaurant! She was friendly and genuine. We could tell that she cared about us and our experience. She was extremely knowledgeable, and enhanced our experience with top notch suggestions. She perfectly balanced attentiveness and privacy, and allowed us to enjoy our 5 year anniversary meal together. When we come back, we will definitely ask for Stacey!
