Music was great. Bartenders were awesome. Bouncer with the glasses, the light skinned black man, was rude as hell. He needs to get fired because he put his hands on a woman on Saturday 9th September. Hitting her. That's a no no.
Okay, this place is just awesome. The atmosphere is inviting and laid back. This is a great place with awesome drink deals and super fun staff. Wonderful place to meet people and they stay open into the early morning.
My bf & I were charged $10 each to get in which is fine, but then later on during the night I noticed that nobody else that was walking in was being charged. When we asked the bouncer what that was about he said "IDK you can talk to my manager" which we did. Come to find out, they only charge tourists cover charge, not locals. Which is BS in my opinion. Other than that, drinks were not bad, prices were good, music was OK, girls were cute. I will not be going back here. I already spend enough while on vacation so if you're going to charge to get in, charge everybody not just tourists.
They also love making a scene of throwing people out, making sure that everyone sees how macho they are. Unnecessary roughness like grabbing people by the shoulders and dragging them out when they were just quietly too drunk. In the hour that I was there, I saw 4 people pulled outside, and never once heard anyone getting rowdy.
Wish I could rate it zero. I think all the men there are on a power trip. Door guy takes my ID, immediate bends it in half and peels the plastic off, and states "how about you hand me your real ID." That was my real ID, Porn-Stache. I'm 30, how about asking for another form of ID before trying to destroy the one you think is fake? I had three other forms on me.
My tab total was $10 including a tip and my account was charged $51. I called and emailed over and over with no replies or answers. Will not be back. Bartenders will steal to tip themselves. She had short blonde hair and was working the bar outside. Avoid giving her your card. Keep your receipt so that you can prove the theft. Poor service. Rude. Overall terrible experience.
