This is like Captain D's with an awesome atmosphere. The server had a great personality, and I had to try out the lanes (which are great for plastic bowlers, not amateurs.) Had fun!
Food was super fresh and very tasty, the cocktails are experience and small amounts. The beer is a great price. Its a very clean place. There are a lot of bowling lanes and if crowded it can take a while but its well set up and organized. Great thing is you can chill in the bar or eat while waiting for bowling lane. Its a very nice and impressive place. I totally recommend it! The staff was friendly.
Our food was fast, but I was not overly impressed with it compared to what we paid. Our overall experience was awful. Our son is very high octane and anything can throw him off. In addition to this he has a severe egg allergy. There was no allergy menu available, so we had to guess at the kids menu and the waiter had to jot back and check it till we were able to find something he could eat. Visiting from Ohio, I love BPS, but will not be visiting Uncle Bucks a second time.
A family member raved about the alligator bites here so we tried them. They were, by far, the best I've ever had. You have to try them. Also, their aioli is delicious. Try that as well. I may add more stars once I try more of their food. Just remember that this place is a bowling alley so temper your expectations on a nice quiet family dinner.
The only reason I'll give it a 1 start is because a 0 start isn't an option. The food was good. And only thing good. Got there at 515 had a hour wait for food. Which is understandable. Told us there was a2 hour wait for bowling, so we were going to eat first then that should be about 2 hrs. We'll we get out appetizers and about 30 seconds late we got our entree. So I sent the appetizers back. Wasn't going to eat cold food after the appetizers. So after 2hrs were back to the bowling ask them how much longer and they told us another 1.5 hrs ago I told then to just call me cause we were got to the bass pro shop store, well I'm still waiting on that call... Horrible staff... They were not busy at the time. Only half of the tables were occupied. Multiple lanes open, 4 lanes were never occupied while we were there, they claimed they were waiting on the party's.... Never Again...
