Only reason it isn't 5*s is that the drinks were not amazing, in our opinion. A bit pricey, and what we got tasted like straight tequila. Also, it comes in essentially a clear solo cup. For 10 bucks I'd expect a bit larger and tastier drinks, in a real glass.
My daughters always love to go to Lulu's when they visit and we always have a great time! Can't wait until my granddaughter is big enough to enjoy the beach there and games. We especially love Lulu's fried okra, just like my grandmother from Alabama made!
I recommend anyone visiting the Destin area to add this restaurant to your list. The food was great and the service was amazing. Our server, John, was awesome and very accommodating. Good food and live music!

I had a hard time deciding on an item as I'm not used to having such a large selection of choices like I had there! I finally settled on the nachos with crab which was excellent. It was a very generous portion of food. I don't remember what my sister had as I was so happy with my meal that I didn't pay attention to her order. We never made it to dessert as the portions were so large we were stuffed!
Really pleased with the prices and service at this place. The food came out no more than 10 minutes after we ordered, and was delicious. When we were missing hush puppies from one of our baskets, our water (Sean) brought us a pile of them in seconds. Great live music and our kids loved the little beach.
They cornered “fun place to get good food” from the moment they opened. Really awesome atmosphere and consistently good eats. It is - as you can imagine- utterly touristy and often overfilled and loud. But it’s in Destin - what do you expect? Would def recommend.
The service from the time we entered until we left was awesome. My interactions with staff left me feeling like they truly cared about me. I am a front of house manager at a restaurant in South Florida and in my opinion Lulu's could be used as an example to other restaurant owners/managers on how to run restaurants well!
I chose Lulu's because it was one of the highest rated on Find Me Gluten Free. I was not disappointed. When you inform the server of dietary requirements a manager is dispatched to your table to take the order, have it prepared in a separate part of the kitchen and then deliver it to your table.
