Ruined my clothes and refused to give refund.
I could not believe it when my bank statement showed a weekly debit of $63.26 instead of my usual weekly $18.70 debit for my husband's shirts from this dry cleaner. When I called a man told me that Pros 4 Clothes was now charging $6.95 per shirt that required a cold water wash. The original charge was $2.80 per shirt, an increase of $4.15 per shirt. Who can afford THAT?!!! This increase was charged without ANY notice that there was to be an increase!!!! The same elderly man (owner?) made no sense with his explanation. We have had an account with Pros 4 Clothes for 6 months now. They have ALWAYS washed the SAME shirts each week in HOT water: my husband's work shirts (L.L. Bean, short-sleeve, 100% cotton, button-front). Now, they tell me these same shirts must be washed in COLD water per the washing instructions on the inside of each shirt. The washing instructions on ALL these shirts denote WARM water wash....................and Pros 4 Clothes has always washed them in HOT water. So they decide these same shirts need to be washed in COLD water and they start charging me $7.95 per shirt. I could not convince this man to agree to simply continue washing all my husband's shirts in hot water as has been done for the previous 6 months.since we were satisfied with this. Needless to say this account has been terminated. I could not find one dry cleaner in the Destin area that charges $7.95 for a man's shirt, not even a long-sleeved dress shirt.
