My initial visit was for a cleaning and checkup. Cleaning was great and pain free. Plantz then came in and took a look and told me I need to replace one filling because of a chip, and another 'cause it was cracked. The second one he said likely would need to be crowned because it is so large. While waiting for the appointment day, I compared prices and decided to go with an in Network provider, Dr. Kellum on Airport RD. When I saw him, I informed him of Plantz' diagnosis. Kellum looked, had an assistant look and they both agreed I didn't need any work. No chip, no crack. Wow, I was happy to save $$ and to avoid drilling. There's my experience with Plantz. You can decide for yourself what it all means. I will say that when I cancelled my appointment with Plantz, he himself came out and tried really hard to keep me. He even moved up my appointment to the next day because he said, someone just cancelled and we have an opening. Hmmm, kind of suspicious. They do have hot assistants though :o)

I have been seeing Dr. Plantz for about two years now. His office has a great group of knowledgeable and friendly staff and it's always been a great experience. I'd recommend him to anyone.
Broke my front tooth on vacation. Dr. Plantz's friendly manner and painless procedure allowed me to complete my vacation with a big smile. His staff was very friendly.
