I recently purchased a used vehicle and needed to get some new tires installed. I didn't look close enough to realize they had security lug nuts on them before bringing my car in. These guys were able to work with me and get them off in no time. They completed the work super fast and they were all very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back for future services!
Was working in Destin and my brakes started going out, clearly had a brake fluid leak somewhere and Pep Boys was the only place that would look at my truck right away, mechanic and counter guy informed me I had a leak on my brake booster and master cylinder and the repairs would cost $1,000. Showed me on master cylinder where alleged leak was at. Also admitted there was a small leak on rear wheel brake line. Urged me to stay and have the repairs done immediately, that my vehicle was not safe to drive. I left and wiped off oil from master cylinder to see whether any new oil would appear from a real "leak" and tightened up the nut on my rear wheel brake line which was simply loose. Truck is good as new, no further leaks. Master cylinder is not leaking at all. BEWARE!
I have taken my car here a couple of times in the past few months. They are super friendly and trustworthy people who don't try to upsell you things you don't need. They also stand behind their products & services and have terrific customer service. Highly recommend!
My wife and I arrived in Destin on a Saturday after driving 850 miles from home. The car broke down as we were crossing the toll bridge. We managed to drive it to our rental and was concerned we had major work to be done. We checked on line and found a Pep Boys on a Sunday in Destin not far from where we were staying. I called and spoke to Jeremey who said to bring the car in and he would take a look a it. I called AAA and was soon on my way. When I arrived Jeremey came out to greet me and confirm that I was the one he spoke with. He said he would be able to let me know in about an hour. Long story short he discovered the problem was a missing bolt on one of the calipers. He said he would have me out in no time. We were very happy with the way Jeremey and his crew took care of us and glad we have a place in Destin to take our car when we come down again as we come down every year. Thanks Team Jeremy to you and your crew. You made our vacation a terrific one.
Called to Make an appointment for service in which I had contacted same company in Fort Walton for they quoted me $10 more and tried to make it sound like I was getting a deal because it’s usually more. Smdh I guess if you in Destin you are suppose to pay more for living out here. I will make the drive to fort Walton anyday than take my chances of going there, that’s just let me know IMO they will try and nickel and dime customers out of there money.
