I'm from out of town and here on vacation. I needed a spray tan and they got me in the same day I called. Its not a booth but a lady that actually sprays it on. Looks much better than a booth sprayer. Very good pricing too!
This place is GREAT! They made a miracle happen and squeezed my fiance and I in for spray tans after our salon back home cancelled on us the night before we were leaving to come to Destin for our wedding. I can't thank them enough for fitting us into their schedule. We looked great on the day of our wedding!
I won't say the facial I got was the worst experience, because it could have been much worse, BUT these were the most painful extractions I've ever had by an aesthetician. I kept telling myself in my head "she's taking care of me, just deal with the pain", but it's days later and I have hyperpigmentation/bruises from the extractions and wouldn't be surprised if a few of them ended up as scars. I did my research and discovered that my skin wasn't kept moist during all of the extractions.
Ginger makes you feel at ease when you are at her spa. I highly recommend Slender Smith Day Spa. I have been going to her now for a few years and wouldn't use anyone else for waxing. She loves her clients and enjoys what she does. A+++
Ginger is my favorite human on Earth. I had an extraction facial with VERY minimal breakouts after. I also have her do my waxing. My first time getting a Brazilian, we just chatted the entire time, I was so comfortable. I usually do my own eyebrows, but one day I figured what the heck and just asked her to do them. HOLY MOLY. I had a dinner party thing after and literally couldn't stop looking at myself. Like I said, FANTASTIC WORK. I've been out of the US and I'm having my mom call and make me an appointment for my first day back in 7 months. Can you tell I love Ginger?
So if you are coming here for a facial and are getting extractions, inform them if you feel like your skin is dry and tight so this doesn't happen to you.
