I've been into the Silver Sands locations no less than 10 times. Each time the store appears to be empty. After viewing shoes for 3-5 minutes someone eventually stumbles out from the back for the store. Every time they basically hurry me out and discourage other customers from purchasing that are younger than their "perceived" target demographic. From my experience the only reason this location is still open is they have a great product and fantastic pricing. I've only encountered two different sales guys and both need to be replaced immediately. The do not properly represent the Allen Edmond's brand... unless I think more of the product then they do themselves.
Wish more parents had taught their sons to shop here. Mine did.
I have purchased 2 pairs of AE at this location, not sure why others have had negative experiences here. I am 23 (and look much younger) and have always received excellent service. I have always gotten a better price than advertised.
I hate to post a negative review here but when researching their store I stumbled across their own site showing 30 five star reviews. I know this is not realistic. When I tried to share my experience I noticed there wasn't even an option to post a review on their site!
My husband and I walked into the store and the two salesmen greeted us; however, that is the only time the two salesmen spoke to us. My husband has 6 or 7 pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes and it feels like they judged us because we are younger than most of the gentlemen that walk into the store. The two salesmen do not do a very good job representing the Allen Edmonds brand and need to work on their customer service skills. My husband said that he will never buy anything from that store ever.
