Love the steak subs there they are the best. Always friendly and service is fast. Wished we had one in Maryland

I've been eating here for almost four years. Used to be a superb establishment, but it has recently gone downhill. Business keeps suffering a lot of turnaround, and it's reflecting in the level or service and quality.
The tipping point for me was when we went in to pickup our online order. We always order online, and they almost always have our sandwich ready. I paid for both orders, got my drink, and asked if they've finished our sandwich yet. I get one order, then the cashier looks in the service and tells me it isn't ready. Ten minutes later I ask if it's ready, he tells me no. I stand there, watching and waiting for the order to be complete.
This was during an abnormally busy time, so I'm being patient. 35 minutes later (the other order involved hot food and there was a massive delay on hit food) the cashier looks into the bag again and realizes the order had been ready the whole time. I can see it in his face. He gets ready to talks to me and catches himself. Handles another order, and gets ready to call me again. He knows I'm watching him, so he brings me the bag, says it's ready.
The one in Destin next to Walmart is disgusting. I knew there was something off about the sandwich while I was eating it because I kept telling my husband how nasty it was, but finished eating it anyways as I was on my lunch break from work. Got home later that day and had food poisoning. Was also not a professional staff as one of the staff had her young daughter, 4 years old max, running around the lobby unattended while she was in the back making subs. Will not be returning.
Jersey Mike's and Jimmy John's also make good sandwiches, and are closer. We'll no longer be including Lenny's in our lunch suggestions.
I complain that I've been standing here for almost an hour and it was ready the whole time. He quickly says "Sorry, I got lost" and almost runs away. His tone of voice and bearing indicated didn't care, and before he brought it over you could see he was steeling himself. He knew he was wrong. Instead of being gracious with his apology he gave it to me as if it was a bother. I left without saying anything else, because I didn't want to cause a ruckus front of so many people.
