I live in Niceville and I'm used to friendly service. Every time I've ever walked into UPS in Niceville, I'm greeted with a smile, a hello, and it's always a pleasant experience. I walk into UPS Destin for the first time and smile and say hello and Stacey only responds with, "I'll get you over there." No smile and definitely not friendly. Apparently I walked up to the wrong part of the counter. The entire visit was uncomfortable with her only telling me what to do or where to go to print off my UPS label. She never said thank you or smiled when I left. I will never go back to the one in Destin.
I have been to at least 100 UPS stores during my life and I have NEVER been to one that is run any better or that has any friendlier folks working there than this one. And it's the same every time I have the privilege and opportunity to use them. They are truly the best at customer service and the place is always organized and spotless.
We will not be using this UPS location anymore for personal or business use. I would rather drive a little further out of the way than have to deal with the rude manager, Stacey. There is something to be said when her subordinates are the ones setting an example in good customer service, while the manager ignores customers and gives them attitude when and if she does acknowledge them.. This has been the case every time we have come and she is there. This was not a one time thing, she just has a poor attitude and terrible customer service skills.
I just hope that the UPS main office, wherever that is, appreciates what they have in all of the ladies that work in this office. I know I am!!
If I had my way, I would never walk into the United States Post Office and would only use this UPS office for ALL of my post office needs.
Stacey Walker is the most unprofessional person I've spoken with. This store sent my blanket to the wrong address, charged me, and Stacey was very rude when I called to inquire about the blanket. This was the most degrading conversation I ever had as a customer. This made me feel like crying afterwards. During the call, she stated that she had a room full of customers and she rudely disrespected me by calling outside of my name. I've never experienced Customer Service like this ever. I am beyond hurt.
10/10/17 -update- I received another package of someone's smelling clothes. I've accepted that I will never get my blanket.
I've gone to the store three times in the last week. Each and every time they've been friendly, courteous and expeditious. It's the exact kind of place I want to go when I need something important done. For me it's mostly been mailing out important documents. They're so nice I want to give them more business. They actually make eye contact with you! Kind of unusual in today's world.
