I came in tonight with my children to find last minute outfits for the 5 of us to wear tomorrow. Every section I went in I noticed the same girl following us and the loss prevention woman on duty and also a lady in a blue shirt who appeared to be a manager. Only one actually helping me look for items after I had asked. I am a paying customer just like everyone else in the store, but became very uncomfortable once I noticed the employees following us and noticeably looking into my buggy and the sides of it as if they were making sure all my items were still there. After going into the last section I wanted to shop, we heard a noise among the dresses. My oldest daughter informed me that a girl "white" had a item that she quickly placed back onto the rack. I then seen all the employees go to that area after we had passed and take the item...i guess the alarm had went off...my thing is after that no employee was tailing/following that person, but were literally bumping into my children and I every corner we turned. I understand people steal, but I am not one of them. As I checked out and was expressing my frustration to the cashier I was told that I was the second person to say the same thing tonight. That was very disturbing to hear. Even if they have to keep a "eye" out why not follow or tail EVERYONE in the store. Very, very upset and will NEVER spend my money in Ross again! I will call Patti and whomever else to let them know of my horrible experience.
Your usual ross merchandise, but the staff was excellent! So friendly, one of the cashier even made jokes with people waiting in line, good job guys!
I love Ross, it has the styles I like at a good price. The only thing is they could use more light in the parking lot.
Store looks good and it well stocked. Only problem, there is more loss prevention staff in this store right now then register open. 20 people in line and only 2 open registers. It is taken me longer in line then picking my selections to purchase.
One star is a pretty tough grade right? Perhaps I can not be objective, as I worked at this store. Ross is the worst company in America to work for. Very few full time jobs, a lot of part timers working 37 hours a week, and will never earn a day of vacation or sick time........even if they work there 15 years.........get sick, no pay. I was full time and in "Loss Prevention", the sad part is, the only shoplifter Ross will prosecute are employees. I was not allow to even talk to a shoplifter, just tell the manager and DO NOTHING.......... you can shop there, they do have cheap prices, they can afford to, since they pay their employees squat.
